Hot Metal Detector (HMD) / Temperature switch

Strong, sturdy and durable. Compact devices up to 75 °C resp. 200 °C ambient temperature (Devices with optic and fiber optic cable even up to 290 °C).

The classic infrared temperature switch (HMD) of Proxitron are a success story. About a switch with 11 steps, the response temperature - varied between +250 ° C and +900 ° C or between +100 °C and +600 °C– can be adapted to the conditions of application.

What Proxitron has given the new HMD 4.0 series, has been found in these sensors in thousands of times as a great success – often for decades. It is the robust construction in stainless steel housing, a wide range of accessories incl. the protection options for the cable and of course, the longevity and the maintenance-free of these special sensors.
