Proxitron speed monitors are inductive sensors for precise and reliable monitoring of motors, drives and conveyor systems. They detect rotating or axially moving metal objects using pulses that are evaluated in the integrated electronics. This allows standstill, slippage, overload or belt breakage to be detected just as reliably as exceeding or falling below the specified speed.
Two operating modes are available for different applications: simple limit value monitoring and control of a defined setpoint range. The setpoint can be conveniently adjusted via Teach-In, and an adjustable start-up delay provides additional flexibility during the start-up process.
The speed monitors are available in several versions – either for DC operating voltage with PNP output or for AC/DC 2-wire operation, each for flush or non-flush mounting.
The robust, fully encapsulated plastic housing is corrosion-free and low-maintenance. Proxitron speed monitors thus ensure maximum operational reliability with minimum investment and maintenance costs.
