Proxitron light barriers from the LX series with a wide range of functions and an extremely long range allow hot and cold objects to be detected even in difficult ambient conditions.

The sensors can be adapted to a wide range of application conditions using software and teach-in. The optical display of the sensor simplifies installation even at large sensor distances, while an alarm function signals contamination and high temperatures. With the adjustable switch-on and switch-off delay, temporary faults caused by water or steam can be conveniently suppressed. The robust design guarantees safe operation even in the event of vibration. The temperature-resistant glass optics withstand radiant heat. For higher ambient temperatures, designs with a cooling jacket or versions with remote electronics, fibre optic cable and optics are available.
