Many of our sensors have the best conditions to be installed in unusual and extreme surroundings.

Cold - ProxiPolar

For most of our sensors -20 °C are no challenge. However, in some areas and surroundings a safe application is more and more necessary at even lower temperatures. For this purpose inductive sensors, type ProxiPolar, have been developed and tested. Select at our product selector your lowest ambient temperature and discover ProxiPolar.  

Heat - ProxiHeat

One of the slightest challenge for us. In our product range you find inductive sensors which are used at ambient temperatures of +250 °C, infrared sensors and light barriers which don't get influenced by temperatures and radiation heat of +290 °C, even of 600 °C. For example light barriers which can be installed in a furnace with a temperature of 600 °C. However, in addition, there also are solutions for special applications as well.

Dirt, vibration, shock, vacuum, water, steam

or corrosive emulsions combined with high temperatures. Proxitron offers you suitable sensors for rough conditions. Our light barriers for example have because of their extreme sensing distance of 2500 m a functional reserve as well. Therefore the detection of objects through steam, water and contamination is not influenced.

Extreme switching distance, extreme range

In addition, we offer you the product series ProxiPlus with a high sensing distance or the series ProxiExtreme proximity switches with an extreme sensing distance. You can decide whether you maybe install a smaller sensor in an existing application or remain at a proven sensor housing form and profit  from a higher switching distance. Just select in the product selector the sensing distance you need.
