Infrared High Temperature Sensor Protection Tube System 

Piros Infrared High Temperature Sensor Protection Tube Systems transfer the radiation of hot objects to a seperate electronic. They can be used in applications where other sensors are overstrained because of the high radiation- or ambient temperature. The compatible mounting allows the replacement of existing AEG protection tube systems. The infrared protection tube system has a purge air connection for cooling and cleaning the optics


 

and enables the mounting below the conveyor track directly below the hot object that should be detected.

This leads to an extremly high detection accuracy and reproducibility. Available are systems with 1 up to 3 optics, which transfer the IR-radiation via a fibre optic cable to an evaluation electronic. This allows a redundant monitoring of the conveyor track for hot material.
